Quick maths! If you can’t do it, you will shoot wide, miss passes, and miscalculate the speed of what is happening. Steph Curry is such an incredible shooter because he understands angles in a particular way, which is seen repeatedly in his tight movements and precision shooting.

Recent Stunning Performance
Steph Curry has 12 games with 50+ points, but he only recently secured his 12th in Game 7. What makes that so significant? Curry is the only player in history to score 50 points in game 7. And considering the Warriors were going down a bumpy road, it wasn’t something that was expected – even by diehard Curry fans.
The Warriors had some particularly bad away games, and the worst record of any team in the playoffs – not a great start by any stretch of the imagination. But what they did manage was to snag wins at two vital away games, and that secured the series for them.
Curry has now overtaken Durant who held the high score with a 48-points against the Bucks just a few years ago.
They were trailing by two points as they went into a nail biting halftime, it made the 20 points on the 8-for-15 shooting from Curry almost not matter. But Curry’s sheer determination turned it all around for the Warriors.
The first half saw Curry make 8 FGs and that was his highest ever in any half. But in the second half, Curry turned it up a notch, with 30 points and 12 field goals, including 16 points in the final quarter – phew!
As the second half came around the Warriors seemed to find their stride. With Curry making seven 3-pointers in the game, which means he now holds the record for the most 3-pointers made in Game 7’s, passing Ray Allen, who had the previous record of 28.
The Warriors also secured the crown for being the team to pass more than any other NBA team. And this was noticeable from the start of the game – Curry was quick with his passes, and set up some sweet dunks.
In the first quarter of the game, the Warriors had ten assists on 11 baskets they made, and in the whole game, they had 25 assists out of 43 baskets made.
Curry became absolutely relentless, and the third quarter was incredible. The Warriors team cruised ahead by 12 points, their most significant lead up to that point.
It was their ability to take and retain the ball for long periods – using possession as their secret weapon. In the third quarter of the game, the Warriors got 13 offensive rebounds, the highest they’ve had in any quarter in the past 20 seasons, Looney had seven of those 13 offensive rebounds.
Steph Curry is a force to be reckoned with who proves time, and again there is nothing he won’t achieve or do to make sure he breaks record after record – which might see Golden State in the playoffs.
