TJ Rosene

TJ Rosene, has been the head men’s basketball coach at Emmanuel College (Franklin Springs, Georgia), for seventeen seasons.  He was hired at 23 years of age and was at the time the youngest college coach in the country.  He has already compiled over 300 wins as a college coach.

He has three times been named a National Coach of the Year, 5-time Regional Coach of the Year, 4-time Conference Coach of the Year, and twice named the Georgia Coach of the Year.

TJ earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Reinhardt University and his Master’s in Postsecondary Education from Troy University. He played high school basketball at Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Georgia where he played for his father, Bob Rosene, a very successful high school coach in both California and Georgia. TJ set many school records at Oconee before accepting a scholarship with Presbyterian College. He finished his college career at Reinhardt University.

TJ also currently serves as the director for coach development for PGC Basketball and oversees all PGC/Glazier coaches’ clinics.  He has been a director with PGC for 8 years. He has been speaking at clinics for years including the “Read & React” clinics with Rick Torbett.

TJ is the co-host of the Hardwood Hustle Podcast along with Adam Bradley.  The Hardwood Hustle is a platform designed to educate, empower and encourage coaches, players and parents.
