CHRIS DELISIO – OLMSTED FALLS (OH) HIGH SCHOOL BOYS’ HEAD VARSITY COACH – EPISODE 118

Chris DeLisio has been the Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach  at Olmsted Falls High School since 2010. Coach DeLisio is a 1995 Olmsted Falls graduate and has been on the Bulldog Basketball staff since his graduation from college in 1999. Coach DeLisio played baseball at the College of Wooster for one year before transferring to Ohio University. During his coaching career he has served as the 9th grade coach, JV coach and Varsity Assistant before taking over for longtime Bulldog coach Pat Donahue.

The Olmsted Falls Boys Basketball program’s philosophy is to create: an environment of learning that fosters a hard-working attitude, high character people, a “winning” mentality, a selfless commitment to a team, and a direct connection to future success.

As educators and coaches, Chris believes we have a great opportunity to teach young men about the lessons that will help them achieve success in the future. Coach DeLisio wants them to take the lessons that they learn on the basketball floor and apply them at school, at home, and at work, for the rest of their lives. In short, he wants them to turn from young men into successful leaders.
